Two young men were tragically shot and killed inside a home on Chicago’s South Side on Tuesday evening, according to police.
The incident took place just after 6:30 p.m. on January 28, 2025, in the 5300 block of South Wabash Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood.
Authorities identified the victims as 19-year-olds Daquan Walters and Jeramiah Lee.
Both suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives with the Chicago Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
