A 33-year-old man was fatally shot following a traffic accident near the intersection of Myrtle Drive and Sam Boles Road late Thursday night, according to the Jacksonville Police Department (JPD).
Police arrived at the scene around 11:52 p.m. and discovered a vehicle occupant, identified as Angel Balderas, who had sustained a single gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
