Two men were seriously injured in a crash in Yaphank on Tuesday, according to police.
The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a 2020 Audi Q5, traveling east on Longwood Road, collided with a 2019 Ram pickup truck heading south on the William Floyd Parkway.
The Audi’s driver and a passenger were taken to Long Island Community Hospital in critical condition, though their identities are being withheld pending notification of their families.
The pickup truck driver, 59-year-old Scott Jacobsen from Medford, was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead to receive treatment for minor injuries.
