MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The SITE Minnesota chapter is grieving the unexpected loss of Kristin Hoffman, a cherished member of the meetings and events industry and a beloved presence within the SITE community. Kristin passed away suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, professionalism, and compassion that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kristin was an active and valued member of SITE Minnesota, previously serving on the chapter’s board, where she led initiatives related to social media and community engagement. Known for her welcoming spirit and collaborative nature, Kristin made lasting connections throughout the industry and was always ready to lend her support, ideas, and encouragement.
For the past 17 years, Kristin was a key part of the team at DCi DMC, where she worked closely with clients and colleagues to bring event visions to life. Her creativity, attention to detail, and deep passion for her work left an indelible mark on countless programs across the country. Many in the SITE network had the opportunity to collaborate with Kristin and remember her not just as a professional, but as a friend and a source of light in the fast-paced world of destination and event management.
Beyond her career, Kristin was a devoted wife, mother of two, and proud dog lover. She often shared stories of her family with joy and pride, and her love for them was the cornerstone of her life.
