Kitchener, ON — The Green Room Barbershop and the broader Kitchener community are in mourning following the unexpected death of Brendan Lennard, a gifted barber, talented musician, and cherished friend to many. Brendan, originally from Toronto and a resident of Kitchener in recent years, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a wave of grief among clients, bandmates, coworkers, and loved ones.

A rising presence both professionally and personally, Brendan was known for his easygoing spirit, his infectious energy, and his rare ability to make people feel at ease. As a barber at The Green Room, he wasn’t just known for his skill with clippers—he created a space of comfort and camaraderie. Clients quickly became friends, drawn to his warmth, creativity, and authenticity.

Outside the shop, Brendan poured his heart into music. He was the drummer for local band Weigh The Anchor, where his vibrant performances and passion for rhythm lit up stages across the region. Friends in the music community remember him not only for his talent but for the enthusiasm and genuine kindness he brought to every practice, performance, and late-night jam session.

A graduate of Conestoga College, where he studied Marketing and Advertising, Brendan was a man of many talents—combining his flair for style and design with a keen sense of communication and community. Whether he was crafting a haircut, collaborating on a creative project, or playing to a crowd, Brendan brought people together with ease.

His death is a devastating loss to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
