BREWTON, ALABAMA — The Brewton community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Dr. Leah Denise Brundidge, a cherished daughter, sister, soror, and friend whose vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, and loving heart touched countless lives. Dr. Brundidge passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2025, at the young age of 31. Born on September 30, 1993, she leaves behind a legacy of service, sisterhood, and spiritual strength.
To know Leah was to feel seen, loved, and lifted. Those closest to her affectionately called her “my sister, my soror, my prayer warrior, my sista girl, my suh.” Her presence was electric—warm, wise, and full of grace. She was a woman of faith, purpose, and power, who lived her life with deep intentionality and compassion. Whether in church, in school, at work, or online, Leah carried a light that illuminated the lives of everyone around her.

Whether mentoring students, serving her church, or lending an ear to a friend in need, she did it with excellence and humility.
