RALEIGH, N.C. — A deadly shooting outside a Raleigh nightclub early Saturday morning left one man dead and another wounded, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Patio Nightclub around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, investigators determined the incident took place in the parking lot of the establishment.
Two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the other was critically injured. Both were transported to a local hospital, where the critically injured man later died.
Authorities have not identified a suspect in the case but say there is no ongoing threat to the public. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and detectives are continuing their investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to piece together the events leading up to the violence.
