The Hutchinson, Kansas, community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Kaden Marcum, 19, who passed away on August 28, 2025, from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident the day before.
Kaden was a cherished son to Jade and Janice Marcum, a beloved brother to Brynna and Kaisun, and a loyal friend to many. He worked at Longfellow Foundations, where his dedication and character shone through daily. To all who knew him, Kaden was a source of joy, laughter, and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on every life he touched.
Even in his passing, Kaden’s generosity endures. As an organ donor, he chose to give the ultimate gift of life, with the potential to save up to eight lives and help countless others through tissue donation. His legacy of compassion will continue to live on in the lives of those he helps.
The Marcum family is now navigating the unimaginable grief of losing their son and brother. To help ease the burden of funeral expenses and provide support during this devastating time, loved ones have set up a fundraiser.
