Angela Marie Nicholls Obituary – Cause of Death: In loving memory of Angela Marie Nicholls

The Musquash community is mourning the sudden and unexpected passing of Angela Marie Nicholls, a beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Angela passed away leaving her family, friends, and colleagues heartbroken as they reflect on a life marked by achievement, adventure, and compassion.

Born on May 2, 1985, Angela was the cherished firstborn of Wayne and Donna (Garnett) Nicholls. From the very beginning, she brought immense joy into their lives, later becoming a devoted and protective older sister to Nathan, with whom she shared an inseparable bond. Those close to her describe her as intelligent, kindhearted, and full of energy—qualities that carried into adulthood and defined the person she became.

Angela’s academic and professional journey reflected her determination and drive. After graduating from UNB Fredericton with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. She built a respected career as a physiotherapist, known for her compassion and dedication to her clients in both the public and private sectors.

Outside of her career, Angela led a life full of adventure and passion. A gifted soccer player for many years, she forged lifelong friendships on and off the field. Her love for fitness also led her into bodybuilding, where she excelled and won competitions.

Her adventurous spirit carried her across the globe. She hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, climbed Mount Carleton with her father and their dog, Zeke, and explored Turtle Mountain, Mount Sagamook, Bailey Mountain, Cape Chignecto, and countless Fundy trails. Whether kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or camping with her dog, Chilli, Angela embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm and independence.

She also cherished travel experiences such as attending a friend’s wedding in Croatia and even skydiving—an adventure that exemplified her fearless approach to life. Angela looked forward each year to her trips with the Kingston Crew, moments that reflected her love for friendship, laughter, and shared memories.

Those who knew her best also remember her unmatched sense of humor, straightforward honesty, and her deep love for family. Angela treasured family gatherings—whether apple picking, celebrating birthdays, attending Christmas parties, or volunteering during the holidays. She regularly gave back to her community, volunteering for the Salvation Army and more recently applying to join the Red Cross’s Friendly Calls program.

Angela Marie Nicholls will be remembered as a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest, cared deeply for those around her, and left behind a legacy of love, adventure, and kindness. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
