GRANVILLE COUNTY, N.C. — The community of Granville County is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Michael P. Henn, Jr., 38, who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning.

According to officials, the crash occurred at approximately 12:39 a.m. near the intersection of Brogden Road and Hester Road. Investigators with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that Henn’s vehicle veered off the roadway, entered a ditch, and overturned. Henn was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
