Beaumont Community Mourns Death of 33-Year-Old Clarence Rosamore, Fatally Shot Friday Evening

The Beaumont, Texas community is mourning the tragic death of 33-year-old Clarence Rosamore, who was fatally shot Friday evening, November 7, 2025.

According to Beaumont Police, officers were called to an apartment complex located at 2317 Broadway Street around 7:12 p.m. for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, officers discovered Rosamore suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but later died from his injuries.

Investigators identified the suspect as 26-year-old Eleazar Stansbury, who police say was located at the scene and taken into custody without incident. After questioning, Stansbury was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and charged with Murder.

The sudden loss of Rosamore has left family members, friends, and neighbors in deep shock and grief. Loved ones describe him as genuine, kind-hearted, and someone whose presence could uplift others — a man who brought warmth and positivity into every room he entered.
