Authorities in Aiken County are continuing to investigate a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, resulting in the death of a passenger and injuries to the driver. According to information released by county and state authorities, the crash involved a sport utility vehicle traveling southbound on a local road shortly before dawn. Investigators said the SUV left the roadway near an intersection and struck multiple trees, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
