The Berkeley County community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Kristy Alger, a 46-year-old resident of Falling Waters, West Virginia, who died following a single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. on December 18, 2025, in the 9300 block of Williamsport Pike. Deputies were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a passenger vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a tree.
Deputy Keller was among the first responders to arrive and found Kristy Alger unresponsive inside a black Nissan Altima. Authorities said the vehicle had exited the roadway prior to the collision. Deputies and emergency medical personnel immediately began life-saving measures, but despite their efforts, Alger was pronounced dead at the scene.
