For those who may not know, Mandy was a cherished and well-known radio figure in the Truro area. Her warmth and authenticity resonated deeply with listeners, and she was genuinely touched by the care and connection she shared with her audience.
In recent years, Mandy bravely and openly shared her private battle with vulvar cancer, a rare gynecological cancer. She used her public platform not for sympathy, but for vital education, striving to inform women about this lesser-known disease, its symptoms, and the importance of awareness. Her courage in the face of illness was an inspiration to all.
