Search continue for missing 12-year-old Amir Caldwell and 13-year-old brother, Balail after last seen in Atlanta home

Two young brothers were reported missing in the Atlanta area on Sunday.

According to police, 12-year-old Amir Caldwell and his 13-year-old brother Balail were last seen at their home at 308 Anderson Ave.

Authorities noted that the boys currently have no means of communication because their mother has taken away their cell phones, following a punishment that left them both upset.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these missing juveniles is urged to submit an anonymous tip to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online at www.StopCrimeAtl.org, or by texting “CSGA” along with the tip to CRIMES (738477). Police also emphasize that individuals can remain anonymous and still qualify for a reward of up to $2,000.

Atlanta police are currently searching for a runaway juvenile. According to authorities, 12-year-old Demonie Hickson, who had been acting out and left home without permission, has not been heard from since his departure.

Hickson was last seen at 565 Wells St. At that time, he was wearing a black Essential hoodie, black pants, black Nike Air Force sneakers, and a black ski mask.

Officials describe him as being between 5′2″ and 5′4″ in height, weighing approximately 110 to 115 pounds, with a black mini-afro and brown eyes.
