Kevon Nuby Accident; Early Morning Crash Claims Life Of 24-Year-Old Kevon Nuby

A fatal crash in Camp Washington early Sunday morning claimed the life of Kevon Javell Nuby, a 24-year-old man from Reading. The tragic incident occurred at approximately 6:24 a.m. on Spring Grove Avenue, near Hopple Street. According to a news release from the Cincinnati Police Department, Nuby was driving north on Spring Grove Avenue when his car veered off the road at a bend, striking both a fire hydrant and a utility pole.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed Nuby’s identity in a report released on Tuesday morning. Despite the Cincinnati Fire Department’s efforts to save him, Nuby was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating whether excessive speed and impairment were factors in the crash. They noted that Nuby was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit is seeking any witnesses to the crash and has urged them to come forward with information by contacting 513-352-2514. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
