Bethlehem Township Woman Killed in Tuesday Night Crash Identified

BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, PA – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday night in Bethlehem Township as 21-year-old Kelsey Anne Rodgers.

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Rodgers was driving east on Freemansburg Avenue, between Wagner Drive and Farmersville Road, when her vehicle crossed the double-yellow line into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle sideswiped another car before colliding with a utility pole.

Emergency responders pronounced Rodgers dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma. The coroner’s office ruled her manner of death as accidental.

The driver of the sideswiped vehicle, a 29-year-old woman from Bethlehem, was not injured in the crash, authorities said.

Following the accident, Freemansburg Avenue remained closed for approximately seven hours as police conducted their investigation and crews worked to repair the damaged utility pole.

The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
