Portia Rowland Obituary-Death News; Collinsville woman found dead in her driveway Tuesday morning
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been mobilized to investigate a homicide in Collinsville Tuesday morning.
Authorities confirmed that 32-year-old Portia L. Rowland was discovered fatally shot near a garage in the 1300 block of Olive Street shortly after 6 a.m. Rowland was an employee of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
More than 30 investigators from the Major Case Squad are actively involved in the investigation.
Collinsville Police have stated that there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community at this time.
