LIMA, Ohio — Authorities in Lima are investigating the fatal stabbing of 47-year-old Anthony Townsend, who was killed Friday afternoon in a violent incident that has shaken the local community.
According to the Lima Police Department, officers responded to reports of a stabbing just after 2 p.m. in the 700 block of North Elizabeth Street. Upon arrival, they found Townsend, also known by the nickname “Adt Thafirst,” suffering from critical stab wounds. Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Townsend was pronounced dead at the scene.
