Jimmy McIntosh, Hannah Wasserman, and Maisey O’Donnell Obituary: Boston Area Diving mourn the loss of Daul County Conference winner, one of 3 Concord-Carlisle High School seniors killed in horiffic Florida car accident

Heartbreak has struck the Concord-Carlisle High School and the greater Boston Area Diving community following the tragic deaths of seniors Jimmy McIntosh, Hannah Wasserman, and Maisey O’Donnell. The three students lost their lives in a devastating car accident while visiting Florida during their spring break. Their sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of their families, friends, classmates, and coaches, who are grappling with unimaginable grief.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred late Monday night in the Florida Panhandle. The vehicle carrying the students was involved in a severe collision, leading to the deaths of Jimmy, Hannah, and Maisey at the scene. Two other Concord-Carlisle High School seniors were also involved and remain hospitalized in critical condition as of the latest updates.

Jimmy McIntosh was a standout student-athlete, known not only for his excellence in academics but also for his passion and talent in diving. A proud member of Boston Area Diving, Jimmy had recently captured the Dual County Conference title, a testament to his dedication, athleticism, and drive. His coaches and teammates described him as a hard-working and humble competitor whose positive attitude inspired everyone around him.

“Jimmy was a quiet leader with an enormous heart,” one of his coaches shared. “He had so much ahead of him. His loss is deeply felt within the diving community and beyond.”

Hannah Wasserman, a bright and compassionate soul, was beloved among her peers for her kindness, humor, and creative spirit. She was an avid participant in the school’s arts programs and was widely admired for her ability to uplift others through her words and actions. Teachers remember Hannah as a student who led by example — diligent, respectful, and filled with endless curiosity.

“She was a beacon of light in our school,” said one Concord-Carlisle teacher. “Hannah’s warmth and intelligence touched everyone she met.”

Maisey O’Donnell was known for her vivacious personality, infectious smile, and zest for life. A talented musician and active volunteer in community initiatives, Maisey had dreams of traveling the world and making a difference in the lives of others. Friends described her as fiercely loyal, endlessly compassionate, and someone who could light up a room with her energy and laughter.

“Maisey lived every day to the fullest,” a close friend shared. “She was fearless, passionate, and left a mark on all our hearts.”

In a statement, Concord-Carlisle Superintendent Dr. Laurie Hunter said, “We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of Jimmy, Hannah, and Maisey during this unimaginable time. Their loss will be deeply felt by our entire school community and by so many families across Carlisle and Concord. We continue to hold the two injured students and their families in our thoughts and prayers.”

Boston Area Diving also released a tribute, mourning the loss of one of their brightest stars: “Jimmy brought determination and joy to every practice and competition. His achievements were impressive, but it was his kindness and team spirit that truly made him shine. Our hearts are broken.”

Vigils are being organized both at Concord-Carlisle High School and at the Boston Area Diving center to honor the lives of Jimmy, Hannah, and Maisey. Friends, classmates, and community members have begun creating memorials filled with flowers, photographs, heartfelt notes, and candles — symbols of love and remembrance for three extraordinary young lives taken far too soon.

Plans for a joint memorial service are underway, with grief counseling services available to students, staff, and affected community members.

In the midst of overwhelming sorrow, the legacy of Jimmy McIntosh, Hannah Wasserman, and Maisey O’Donnell will live on in the countless lives they touched. Their memories will remain a guiding light in the hearts of those who loved them — a reminder of their kindness, passion, and spirit.
