“Life is way too short and if you love someone then tell them. I’m glad you came into my life when I needed a friend most. I’m going to miss our late night shit-talking phone calls and all the laughs we shared together. You were a solid rock for me and I know you are so angry right now because you loved life and had so many plans for the future! I know you are happy to see your mama though, and that brings me a little peace. Rest easy, my love.”

Ashley’s sudden departure is a devastating reminder of how fleeting life can be. Yet in her time here, she made a lasting impact. She brought people together. She showed up. She mattered.
