Jorge Ovidio Mateo Vasquez, a 17-year-old from Portland, tragically lost his life in a shooting on Thursday, January 23, at Vance Park. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at 1400 S.E. 182nd Ave. Police arrived shortly after and found Jorge deceased at the scene.
