BLOOMBURG, TX – A shocking and tragic incident unfolded in a quiet Texas town early Friday morning, March 29, when a mother allegedly killed her 9-year-old daughter, attacked her own mother, and attempted to take her own life.
Authorities say Allison French, the 36-year-old suspect, is now facing capital murder charges after police linked her to the gruesome attack on her daughter, Abigail French, and her mother, Jacki Kubin.
Terrifying 911 Call Leads Police to Grisly Scene
The terrifying chain of events began at 6:31 a.m., when Atlanta Police received a frantic 911 call from a neighbor on FM 74 in Bloomburg, Texas. The caller reported that Jacki Kubin, bleeding and in shock, had run to their home, begging for help.
According to the neighbor, Kubin, who had sustained severe injuries from defensive wounds, was able to escape the brutal attack and flee the house. As she sought help, the neighbor also reported seeing a suspicious vehicle speeding away from the scene.
Emergency responders rushed to the home and discovered young Abigail French gravely injured. Paramedics performed life-saving efforts and rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
