A quiet early morning in Forsyth ended in tragedy after a crash claimed the life of 31-year-old Allison Schwartz, leaving her family and community mourning a sudden and devastating loss.
The fatal incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Barron Russell Road, where Allison was riding in a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle (UTV) with her husband, Zachary Schwartz. According to preliminary information, the couple was traveling along the roadway when their UTV struck a tree that had recently fallen across the road.
Authorities said the fallen tree created an unexpected obstruction in the dark conditions, leaving little time for the driver to react. The collision resulted in Allison being ejected from the vehicle and sustaining critical injuries. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but she was pronounced dead due to the severity of her injuries.
