MASOUTAH, IL — The community of Mascoutah is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Andrew P. Postula, a beloved husband, father who passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on January 26, 1993, in England, Andrew brought energy, humor, and heart to every life he touched.
Andrew will be remembered not only for his challenges, but more importantly for his kindness, vibrant personality, and deep love for his family. Those closest to him say he had a rare ability to light up any room, to connect with people of all walks of life, and to offer support to others—even while facing personal struggles of his own.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Andrew especially loved football and was a proud Buffalo Bills fan. He found true purpose in coaching and mentoring kids, where his natural leadership and enthusiasm left a lasting impact on the young lives he guided. His ability to inspire and encourage was one of his greatest gifts.
Above all else, Andrew cherished his role as a father. He is survived by his wife, Haley Postula, and their four children: Hayden, Hadley, Holden, and Hayes. His family was the center of his world, and he strived every day to show them love and support.
He also leaves behind his mother, Linda Postula; his father, Jared (Ilene) Postula; and three sisters, Kaitlyn, Rebecca, and Lindsey Postula. His extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends join together in mourning the loss of a man whose spirit was larger than life.
In a heartfelt tribute, Andrew’s family acknowledged the difficult journey he faced but urged others to remember him for his humor, warmth, and compassion: “Please remember the kind, funny, good-hearted person he was, because he was so much more than his struggle. He was a husband, father, son, brother, friend—and sometimes, he got it right.”
Andrew Postula’s memory will live on through the lives he touched, the children he coached, and the love he gave so freely. He will be missed beyond measure.
