LEBANON, TN – A fatal crash investigation prompted the closure of a major roadway in Lebanon on Wednesday morning, as authorities worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to the Lebanon Police Department, all northbound lanes of Murfreesboro Road were shut down between Leanna Lane and Hollowell Road following the crash, which occurred around 7 a.m.
Officials have confirmed that at least one person was killed in the accident. However, details regarding the number of vehicles involved or potential contributing factors remain undisclosed at this time.

“As a church family, we will be gathering alongside our students at 6:00 PM in the Worship Center to mourn Carson’s passing and celebrate his life, knowing that he is now fully in the presence of Jesus. This will be an open-ended time of prayer and worship, with our care team and counselors available for support. While there will be no regular activities for children, middle school, or high school students, preschool care will be provided.”

Traffic in the area is being rerouted, and commuters are advised to seek alternative routes as the investigation continues. Authorities have not provided an estimated timeframe for when the roadway will reopen.
