Douglasville Police Investigating Possible Murder-Suicide at Shopping Center
Douglasville authorities are investigating a potential murder-suicide after two individuals were found dead at a local shopping center early Friday morning.
Police responded to the Chapel Hill Village shopping center on Chapel Hill Road around 7 a.m. after receiving a report of two people with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies inside a parked vehicle.
While the investigation remains active, officials believe the incident was a murder-suicide. However, the identities of the deceased and their relationship to one another have not yet been disclosed. Detectives continue to piece together the events leading up to the tragic shooting.
