Dr. Alyssa Rose Lillian Obituary – Cause of Death Baltimore: Family and friends mourn the unexpected loss of Dr. Alyssa Rose Lillian

Dr. Alyssa Rose Lillian, 28, passed away peacefully at her home in Baltimore, MD, on July 19, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Leslie Lillian, sister of Brandon Lillian, and partner of Isaac Pryzant.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, and raised in East Brunswick, Alyssa excelled academically and formed lifelong friendships. She attended East Brunswick High School, earned her undergraduate degree from American University, and graduated from New Jersey Medical School.

At the time of her passing, she was a second-year pediatric resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was admired for her medical skill, intelligence, and deep compassion.

Known for her kindness, patience, and thoughtfulness, Alyssa brought warmth and comfort to everyone she met. Her colleagues recall her quick wit, love of laughter, and adventurous spirit. Whether exploring new places, comforting an anxious parent, or volunteering in community programs, she gave selflessly, always placing others’ needs before her own.

At Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Alyssa was a bright light, making young patients feel safe and valued. Friends and family describe her as someone whose presence filled a room and whose absence leaves a profound void.

A tribute written in her honor likened her to “a rose… a petal so soft” whose loss shakes the very foundation of those who loved her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Inc., Philadelphia, PA, with interment at Laurel Hill West Cemetery. Alyssa’s legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
