Two people lost their lives, and two children were hospitalized following a crash in Mesa on Monday morning.

The accident took place around 8 a.m. along Val Vista Drive, just south of Southern Avenue.

According to the Mesa Fire and Medical Department, the collision involved three vehicles and resulted in four victims.
