Estil Perrigan Jr., 61, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, after a presumed drowning at Tallman Lake in Mason County.
Perrigan was deeply rooted in his community and will be remembered for his steady presence, kindness, and the warmth he shared with those around him. Friends and loved ones recall a man who appreciated life’s simple joys and treasured his time outdoors.
Authorities say first responders were called to Tallman Lake after reports of an overturned kayak. Despite immediate search and rescue efforts, Perrigan was later located by a Michigan Department of Natural Resources officer and pronounced deceased at the scene.
He leaves behind family, friends, and loved ones who will forever hold his memory close.
