Brothers Identified in Fatal I-95 Overpass Crash in Philadelphia
Philadelphia officials have identified the two brothers who lost their lives in a devastating crash on Interstate 95 in the city’s Port Richmond section.
According to authorities, the tragic incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Friday when a Mazda carrying four brothers from New Jersey veered off the highway and plunged onto Castor Avenue below the interstate.
The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Joshua Davis of Cranbury and 23-year-old Aaron Davis of East Windsor, officials confirmed Monday.
Their two younger brothers, 18-year-old twins Benjamin and Nathaniel Davis of East Windsor, sustained serious injuries in the crash and are currently receiving medical care, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation as officials work to determine what led to the vehicle leaving the roadway.
