19-Year-Old Kentucky Man, Drew Inabnitt, Remembered for His Passion for Farming and Love for Life

EUBANK, KY – The community of Eubank, Kentucky, is mourning the tragic loss of 19-year-old Drew Inabnitt, who passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, while doing what he loved most—farming.

Born on January 22, 2006, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Tyrel and Brooke (Elliott) Inabnitt, Drew was known for his deep passion for agriculture, his love of football, and his infectious sense of humor. A former player for both Southwestern High School and Pulaski County High School, he built strong friendships on and off the field, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Drew’s happiest moments were spent on the back of his horse, working cattle and embracing the rural lifestyle he cherished. Farming wasn’t just a job for Drew—it was a way of life, and he pursued it with relentless passion and dedication. Friends and family remember him as a hardworking young man who always had a smile on his face, embracing each day with enthusiasm and a fearless spirit.

A natural storyteller with a quick wit, Drew had a unique way of viewing the world, finding humor in the smallest moments and making those around him laugh. Known for his playful teasing and sharp comebacks, he was often described as “the sweetest meanest kid ever,” a title that spoke to his ability to joke with love at its core. His unwavering authenticity and confidence in pursuing what he loved made him an inspiration to many.

Drew is survived by his parents, Tyrel and Brooke Inabnitt; his sister, Jalyn Sweet; his brother, Alex Inabnitt; his niece, Elliott Faye; his grandmothers, Teresa Inabnitt and Rhonda Elliott; and his great-grandfather, Elmer “Hotshot” Inabnitt. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Destiny Sadler, as well as a close-knit group of friends whom he considered brothers, including Layton Abbott, Knox Kinser, and Todd Daulton.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mike Elliott and Ben Inabnitt, as well as his great-grandparents, Geneva and Edward Lay and Betty Inabnitt.

A funeral service to honor Drew’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, with Bro. Jason Turner officiating. He will be laid to rest at Science Hill Cemetery.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

As the community comes together to remember Drew, his legacy of hard work, laughter, and love for farming will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
