Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Hit-and-Run Investigation

Houston police are requesting assistance from the public in locating a suspect vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, at 3800 North Braeswood Boulevard.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white SUV, though the specific make and model remain unknown. A surveillance image of the vehicle has been released as part of the investigation.

The victim, 70-year-old Pamela Pepperell, was struck while crossing the street at the specified location. The white SUV, traveling westbound on North Braeswood Boulevard, failed to stop and fled the scene without providing assistance.

Emergency responders from the Houston Fire Department arrived promptly and transported Ms. Pepperell to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
