The Park School of Buffalo community and the Kadimah Scholars family are mourning the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Hannah St. Cyr, a first-grade student at Park School, who passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on April 13. Hannah was a joyful presence—a bright, kind, and spirited young girl whose laughter and warmth touched everyone around her.

Her unexpected passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her classmates, teachers, and the wider school and Jewish communities. Hannah’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her, and her beautiful spirit will live on through the love and light she shared in her short but meaningful life.
Hannah’s mother, Ashley St. Cyr, is a devoted member of the Kadimah Scholars community and serves on its board. Her commitment to Jewish education and values has helped shape many young lives, and now, in this time of grief, the community rallies around Ashley, her husband Doug, and their family with love, prayers, and support.
A Funeral Service for Hannah will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Temple Beth Tzedek, 1641 N. Forest Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221. Those unable to attend in person may view the service via livestream at btzbuffalo.org.
Shiva will be observed on Sunday, from 3:00–5:00 PM at the home of Hannah’s grandparents, Bruce and Marianne Wisbaum, located at 60 Contessa Ct., Williamsville, NY 14221.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Hannah’s name to The Park School of Buffalo Scholarship Fund, honoring her legacy through the gift of education.
