Isaih Moreno Texas Yellowstone National Park Accident: 25-year-old Humble, TX man identified among 7 killed in fiery crash near Henrys Lake

The community of Humble, Texas, is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 25-year-old Isaih Moreno, one of seven individuals tragically killed in a fiery head-on collision near Henrys Lake, Idaho. The devastating accident occurred on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2025, as a group of tourists made their way toward Yellowstone National Park.

According to Idaho State Police, the crash took place around 7:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 20, near mile marker 399 just outside Henrys Lake State Park. A Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling westbound reportedly veered into the eastbound lane, colliding head-on with a Mercedes passenger van filled with visitors on what was meant to be a scenic journey through one of the nation’s most iconic natural wonders. The collision sparked a massive fire, engulfing both vehicles in flames and claiming the lives of all seven people inside.

Isaih Moreno, a native of Humble, Texas, has since been publicly identified by the Fremont County Coroner’s Office as one of the crash victims. His sudden death has left his family, friends, and community reeling. Described by loved ones as a compassionate soul with a vibrant personality, Isaih was known for his big heart, infectious smile, and deep love for adventure and travel.

He had a passion for life and a dream of experiencing the beauty of the world—Yellowstone being one of the many places on his travel list. His journey to Idaho was one of excitement and anticipation, a reminder of how fragile and unpredictable life can be.

In Humble, candlelight vigils and tributes have begun to emerge as family and friends remember Isaih for the joy he brought to their lives. One friend wrote, “Isaih was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and valued. This loss is incomprehensible.”

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash, including what led the Dodge Ram to enter the wrong lane. The identities of the remaining six victims have not yet been publicly released, pending notification of their families.

The tragic event has underscored the importance of road safety and the unforeseen dangers that can alter lives in an instant. It also marks one of the deadliest collisions in the area in recent years, casting a shadow over the otherwise serene region near Yellowstone.

As the Moreno family and the community of Humble prepare to say their final goodbyes, the memory of Isaih’s kind spirit and zest for life will endure. Plans for a memorial service will be announced in the coming days, with many expected to attend to honor his life cut far too short.

In this time of sorrow, may Isaih Moreno be remembered not for the tragedy of his passing, but for the warmth, kindness, and inspiration he shared during his 25 vibrant years. May his memory be a blessing.
