On August 13th, the world lost an extraordinary son, brother, and friend—Jordan Shaw of Waterford, Michigan—whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating accident.
At just 24 years old, Jordan’s passing has left an unfillable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and a remarkable ability to uplift those around him, leaving a lasting impact that will be remembered forever.
Jordan was a bright light, known for his kindness, humor, and genuine warmth. He had an infectious smile that could light up a room and a presence that made people feel instantly at ease.
Whether among friends, family, or colleagues, Jordan had a unique gift for connecting with others, turning strangers into friends and creating memories that those who knew him will cherish forever.
A proud graduate of The University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management, Jordan’s ambition and dedication were evident early on. He carried these qualities into his professional life, where he worked as an estimator at Luca Electric.
His talents, work ethic, and friendly demeanor made him a valued team member, and his colleagues remember him not only for his skills but for the positivity and warmth he brought to every interaction.
Outside of his professional achievements, Jordan was passionate about life’s joys. He had a deep love for cars, particularly his Acura, which he could dismantle and reassemble with remarkable skill, reflecting both his mechanical aptitude and dedication to his hobbies.
Jordan also had a love for golf, embracing the game with enthusiasm and competitive spirit. He was especially excited this year to participate in the Michigan Ryder Cup, a testament to his joy for life and his willingness to embrace new challenges and experiences.
Family was at the center of Jordan’s world. He is survived by his loving father, Scott Shaw; his devoted mother, Connie Shaw; and his older brother, Tyler Shaw. Jordan’s bond with his family was unshakable, and his loss leaves them grieving not only the sudden absence of a son and brother but also the vibrant energy and love he shared with those closest to him.
