Joshua Flannery, Jeffery Mast and Grace Beard Car Accident Goshen, Indiana: Family and friends tributes in loving memory of “amazing” Grace Beard

GOSHEN, Ind. — The community of Goshen is reeling after a tragic car crash claimed the life of Grace Beard, 24, on Tuesday afternoon. The fatal three-vehicle collision occurred around 2:28 p.m. in the 800 block of North Main Street, also known as State Road 15.

Grace studied at University of Notre Dame. She attended Northridge High School.

According to a press release issued by local authorities, officers responding to the scene found two drivers with injuries and one deceased at the scene. Grace Beard was tragically pronounced dead on site. Two other drivers—Joshua Flannery, 35, and Jeffery Mast, 34—were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Flannery reported back and neck pain, while Mast sustained injuries to his hip, arm, and leg.

The crash remains under active investigation, and officials have not yet released further details about the cause of the accident.

In the wake of the heartbreaking news, friends and classmates have taken to social media to honor Grace’s memory. “Damn, Grace Beard—we had good times in high school,” one friend wrote. “Rest in peace. This is very sad and unfortunate. My condolences to the family and prayers up.”

Described by those who knew her as “amazing” and full of life, Grace Beard’s sudden passing has left her loved ones and the wider Goshen community in mourning. Tributes continue to pour in, remembering her warmth, spirit, and the impact she made during her too-short life.
