Kelsey Jeanne Likovic, 32, of Chesterland, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2025, following a tragic car accident that occurred on Sunday, November 30th. After the accident, Kelsey was placed on life-support with critical injuries. Though her injuries were severe, she felt no pain as she fought courageously for five days. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.
Kelsey is survived by her devoted parents, Ron and Jackie, and her beloved siblings, R.J., Sammi, and T.J. She also leaves behind a large extended family, a wide circle of close friends, and her cherished four-legged companions who brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.
Kelsey was known for her deep love of animals and her vibrant, joyful spirit. She never hesitated to join in on any gathering or celebration, and her presence always made the moment brighter. Creative at heart, she loved music and spent countless hours drawing and doodling. Some of her happiest times were spent at home with her pets, enjoying girls’ nights with her closest friends, and relaxing at the S.N.P.J. campsite.
Wherever Kelsey went, she always captured memories — often being the one to record the photos and videos that would later become treasured reminders of shared laughter and unforgettable moments. Strong-willed, stubborn, and determined, she balanced her fiery spirit with genuine love and unwavering loyalty. Those who knew her best affectionately called her “Shorty,” “Rachel,” “Lovebug,” and “Dipstick,” nicknames that reflected the unique, playful, and loving person she was.
In the wake of her passing, a GoFundMe fundraiser, organized by Pam Hudson, was created to help her family manage the unforeseen financial strain of medical expenses and funeral arrangements. The community has come together in support, honoring the impact Kelsey made in so many lives.
