Authorities have released new information following a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Cincinnati man Saturday night in the Carthage neighborhood.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 49-year-old Kevin Sellars, who died from injuries sustained in the crash. The incident occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. in the 300 block of North Bend Road, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find Sellars behind the wheel of a 2000 Toyota 4Runner that had suffered significant damage. Preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on West North Bend Road when the driver lost control. The SUV reportedly struck a curb and veered off the road before colliding with an object near the roadside. Officials have not yet specified what the vehicle hit.
