SHILOH, Ill. — Relief swept across the Shiloh community late Friday after authorities confirmed that 14-year-old Brock Hoffman, who had been reported missing earlier this week, has been safely located.
Police announced that Brock is now in the care of the Shiloh Police Department, ending a tense and emotional search that stretched for hours and had residents on high alert since Thursday evening.
Brock was last seen in the Shiloh area on November 7, prompting law enforcement to issue a Missing Juvenile Alert and turn to the public for assistance. His disappearance led to widespread concern, as neighbors, parents, and classmates shared his description across social media and urged anyone with information to contact authorities immediately.
Standing at approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds, Brock’s sudden disappearance without clear explanation intensified worry within the close-knit community.
