Newport, WA — The NEW Health Programs Association is mourning the loss of one of its most dedicated and respected team members, Shirley Wagoner, ARNP, who passed away after serving the community with compassion and excellence for over a decade.

Shirley Wagoner was a familiar and trusted presence in the lives of patients, colleagues, and families across Newport and surrounding areas. For the past 10 years, she brought not only exceptional clinical expertise to NEW Health, but also a deep sense of empathy, integrity, and unwavering commitment to accessible care.

“Shirley was more than a nurse practitioner — she was an advocate, a mentor, and a source of strength for so many,” the organization shared in a statement. “Her passion for healthcare and her genuine concern for the well-being of others defined her work and made a lasting impact in every community she served.”
