OXON HILL, Md. — Police are investigating a triple shooting in Oxon Hill that left one person dead and a juvenile injured Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the shooting occurred in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway just before 3 p.m. When officers arrived, they discovered three male victims.
According to investigators, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while a juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A third victim reportedly fled the scene after the gunfire.
At this time, police have not released details on what may have led to the shooting or provided a description of a possible suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Prince George’s County Police as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the violence.
