Police search continues for 24-year-old Rayjuan Antonio Calloway who is accused of killeng father Israel Calloway in Roanoke, Virginia

ROANOKE, VA — Authorities are actively searching for 24-year-old Rayjuan Antonio Calloway, who is accused of fatally shooting his father, 57-year-old Israel Calloway, during a domestic incident in Roanoke on Saturday.

Roanoke Police confirmed late Saturday evening that Rayjuan Calloway is wanted in connection with the deadly shooting, which occurred at a residence in the 900 block of 7th Street Northwest. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the home and, upon arrival, discovered Israel Calloway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have since identified Rayjuan Calloway as the primary suspect in the shooting. Police say he may be driving a white Honda Accord bearing Virginia license plate VTA-7996. The public is urged to remain alert and not approach Calloway if spotted. Instead, anyone with information on his whereabouts should immediately contact the Roanoke Police Department.

The incident has shaken the local community, as police work to piece together what led to the violence between father and son. No further details have been released regarding a possible motive.
