Born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, Robert was deeply connected to his hometown roots. A proud graduate of Penn State University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology and economics and completed the Smeal College Business Fundamentals Certificate program—achievements that reflected his intellectual curiosity and desire to make a difference in society through a career in law enforcement.
In April 2022, Pascale officially joined the Greenwich Police Department, following his graduation from the New Britain Police Academy’s 19th training session. His professionalism and work ethic quickly set him apart. Continuing a proud family legacy, Pascale followed in the footsteps of his great-uncle, John Cornelius, who also served as a member of the GPD—a connection that added special significance to his role within the department.
From his very first day on the force, Officer Pascale’s dedication, integrity, and compassion were unmistakable. He earned multiple letters of recognition for his attention to detail, report writing excellence, and willingness to assist others without hesitation. Supervisors and peers alike described him as someone who “represented the very best of our profession,” a colleague whose positive attitude and reliability made him beloved throughout the ranks.

To honor his memory, calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 2, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday, November 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Saint Cecilia, also in Stamford.
