A car crash in East Brunswick Township on Friday claimed the life of 90-year-old Ronald Yeakel, as confirmed by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
Coroner David Moylan III stated that no hometown information was available for Yeakel at the time of the report.
The Schuylkill County Communications Center received a call at 10:24 p.m. reporting a vehicle collision with a tree on 419 Clamtown Road. Emergency responders pronounced Yeakel deceased at the scene.
A postmortem CAT scan is scheduled to be conducted this week, according to Moylan.
