San Diego Legal Community Mourns Loss of Law Clerk Jade Kouretchian

The Southern California legal community is grieving the sudden passing of Jade Kouretchian, a San Diego–based law clerk whose dedication, intellect, and professionalism left a lasting mark on colleagues and clients alike. Kouretchian, a resident of Beverly Hills, passed away over the past weekend, leaving friends, classmates, and mentors in profound sorrow.

A former J.D. candidate at the University of San Diego School of Law, Kouretchian was recognized for her sharp mind, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to justice. During her time in law school, she actively engaged in practical legal work, assisting attorneys and supporting clients with maturity and diligence that exceeded her years.

Most recently, Kouretchian served as a Fall Law Clerk at Hoffman & Forde, Attorneys at Law, A.P.C., where colleagues described her as bright, approachable, and exceptionally dedicated. Prior to that, she gained experience as a Summer Law Clerk at Klinedinst PC, one of San Diego’s well-regarded litigation and business law firms, leaving a strong impression on mentors and attorneys alike.

Friends and peers remember Kouretchian not only for her professional promise but also for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care for others. Her colleagues emphasized that her presence brought both excellence and humanity to the work she undertook, making her a standout member of the legal community.
