Authorities in Buffalo have confirmed that a person died Thursday following a tragic incident on the Southbound Buffalo Skyway, prompting a full-scale emergency response and the temporary closure of southbound lanes along Route 5.
Buffalo Police and emergency medical crews were dispatched shortly after reports surfaced that an individual had jumped from the Skyway bridge. Responders quickly arrived on scene, securing the area and initiating an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
