St Ann’s, Nottingham – Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old man in St Ann’s on Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to Abbotsford Drive at approximately 12:50 p.m. on November 10, where the victim was found critically injured from stab wounds. Despite urgent medical efforts by paramedics, the man was pronounced dead a short time later. His family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers, authorities confirmed.
Detectives are now working to establish the events leading up to the attack and identify those responsible. Investigators are appealing to the public for information and are urging witnesses to come forward immediately.
“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family during this incredibly difficult time,” said Chief Superintendent Nick Waldram. “Detectives are actively working to determine what happened before, during, and after this incident. Any detail, no matter how small, could be vital.”
Police say the stabbing is believed to be an isolated incident, and there is currently no wider threat to the public. Patrols in the area are being increased to provide community reassurance while the investigation continues.
