A dedicated athlete, Taylor spent years playing for the Avon Lakers before joining the St. Martin Martins, where his sportsmanship, skill, and commitment to the game earned him admiration on and off the field. Teammates and fellow athletes remember him for his humor, humility, and the joy he brought to every game. His love for baseball created lifelong bonds, and the outpouring of community support during his illness—highlighted by the Fred Roufs Golf Tournament fundraiser—reflected how deeply he was cherished.

Yet above all, Taylor treasured his role as a husband and father. In 2019, he married his wife, Jordan, and together they welcomed two sons, Mack and Cam, who became the center of his life.
