QUEENS, NY — A major emergency response unfolded Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025, after a man reportedly jumped off the Throgs Neck Bridge following an automobile crash.
The incident, which occurred on the Queens side of the span, prompted a large-scale water rescue operation. According to FDNY Marine Unit 4, a credible witness at the scene reported seeing an individual leap from the bridge into the water below shortly after the crash was reported.
